Topped Waikiki takes Korean cuisine to a whole new level as it is considered a fast-food restaurant, yet the quality of ingredients is outstanding. The restaurant is located on Kuhio Avenue, away from Waikiki's crowded Kalakaua Avenue. You can get a full meal of Bibimbap with less than $15 and just in 5 minutes.
Topped first started out as a small stand at King's Village Farmer's Market. After a year of success, the owner Justin Sok decided to open a full-service small restaurant in Downtown Honolulu at N. Hotel St. in 2017. Waikiki location opened soon after and is flourishing with tourists from all over the world.
You can either choose to take out or dine in at Topped. There are five options of Bibimbap you can choose from: kalbi, chicken, pork, tofu and vegetable. There is also Korean pickled cabbage. kimchi. and miso soup. Egg is optional with your bibimbap for $1 more. There is also Dub Bap that comes with your choice of meat, rice and cabbage salad.
